Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Gruul ramp and cheat strategy built around casting Etali, Primal Conqueror as early as Turn 4. Using an extensive suite of one-mana mana dorks, land enchantments, and explosive red rituals like Seething Song and Treasonous Ogre, the deck rapidly bypasses normal mana restrictions to deploy its 7-mana commander. Upon entry, Etali exiles and immediately casts the top nonland card of every player's library for free, creating massive card and tempo disparity in a single turn. The deck capitalizes on this entry trigger by utilizing temporary token copies such as Twinflame, Molten Duplication, and Heat Shimmer to repeat the exile process, overwhelming opponents with their own spells. To secure the win, the deck leverages mass combat damage, an alternate two-card combo via Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, or transforms its commander into Etali, Primal Sickness to execute lethal single-hit poison attacks.
