Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Golgari Lands deck commanded by The Gitrog Monster. It leverages land sacrifice outlets, dredge mechanics, and extra land drops to generate overwhelming card draw and mana velocity. By turning land movement between the battlefield and graveyard into raw resources, the deck establishes dominant board states through landfall payoffs like Scute Swarm and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen. It can also systematically strip opposing mana bases using recursive Strip Mine loops alongside Crucible of Worlds and Azusa, Lost but Seeking. With robust ramp, versatile removal, and resilient recursion spells like Splendid Reclamation and Life from the Loam, the deck grinds through opposing disruption and closes games through massive combat waves or catastrophic life drain via Exsanguinate.
