Commander: The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Esper "everybody draws, everybody pays" deck helmed by The Second Doctor and Vislor Turlough. The core plan is to offer the table extra cards-through the Doctor's end-step trigger, Howling Mine, Dictate of Kruphix, and wheels-while Underworld Dreams, Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, Orcish Bowmasters, Psychosis Crawler, and Queza, Augur of Agonies convert every draw into life loss. The Doctor's attack-prevention clause plus Propaganda and Ghostly Prison keep the deck safe while it grinds. The explosive finishes are a Notion Thief plus Windfall/Whispering Madness draw-steal combo with Psychosis Crawler and/or Krang, the All-Powerful on board, or a self-targeted Peer into the Abyss with a draw payoff already in play. Folio of Fancies and hand-size punishers like Iron Maiden, Black Vise, and Price of Knowledge serve as long-game backstops.
