Deck overview

This deck leverages Gwenom, Remorseless as a commander-centric engine that turns life into mana velocity. By attacking with Gwenom, you gain access to the top card of your library, casting spells by paying life equal to their mana value rather than mana. Gwenom's natural lifelink and supplementary lifegain cards, such as Sheoldred, the Apocalypse and Bontu's Monument, keep your life total high enough to chain multiple spells in a single turn. The deck transitions this top-deck storm into immediate victory through two primary avenues: assembling the infinite life-drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond (or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose), or by accumulating high storm counts to eliminate opponents with Aetherflux Reservoir and Tendrils of Agony. Robust equipment protection and reanimation backup ensure the deck remains resilient against single-target interaction.
