Deck overview

Animar, Soul of Elements leads a fast creature-based combo deck designed to accelerate mana, chain creature casts, and win in a single explosive turn. The primary game plan centers on ramping into Animar on Turn 2 or 3, quickly stacking +1/+1 counters by deploying low-cost utility creatures, and assembling a game-ending bounce loop. With four counters on Animar, Ancestral Statue casts for free, repeatedly returning itself to hand to make Animar infinitely large. Drawing into or tutoring payoffs like Walking Ballista or Purphoros, God of the Forge allows the deck to deal lethal damage to all three opponents on Turn 4 without passing the turn. Inherent protection from white and black shields Animar from the most common removal spells, while cards like Heroic Intervention and Bolt Bend provide backup. If Animar is disrupted, the deck can fall back on Peregrine Drake loops or hardcasting massive Eldrazi threats to close out the game.
