Deck overview

This is a five-color Sliver tribal deck helmed by Sliver Overlord, the format's ultimate Sliver tutor. The primary game plan is to establish a critical mass of Slivers, leveraging lords like Sliver Legion, Muscle Sliver, Predatory Sliver, and Banner of Kinship to pump the swarm into a lethal combat threat, while Virulent Sliver offers an alternate poison-based kill. The deck can also assemble an infinite engine with Sliver Queen + Basal Sliver + a mana Sliver (Gemhide Sliver/Manaweft Sliver) for infinite tokens and mana, finishing through poison or a Gratuitous Violence-boosted swing. Sliver Hivelord grants indestructible, Crystalline Sliver grants shroud, and Sliver Gravemother provides mass recursion. The commander's activated ability tutors any Sliver, giving the deck strong access to its key pieces, though the slow tapped-land mana base delays the overall clock.
