Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mono-Green Stompy build focused on rapidly deploying undercosted, high-power creatures to cast Ghalta, Primal Hunger as early as Turn 4 for just two green mana. Leveraging efficient beaters like Steel Leaf Champion and Pugnacious Hammerskull, the deck establishes a massive board presence that triggers power-based draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. On Turn 5, Ghalta begins swinging with trample, putting the table on a severe commander damage clock. Overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth amplify combat steps to close out opponents across multiple turns. While the deck boasts high mana velocity and resilient backup threats like Elder Gargaroth and Vaultborn Tyrant, it relies on natural draws due to a lack of tutors and remains susceptible to repeated board wipes.
