Blech, Loafing Pest by TheLawnGuy

Format: Commander

Commander: Blech, Loafing Pest

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deck is a lifegain-and-counters value build that turns every life-gain trigger into a growing swarm of Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. Blech, Loafing Pest is the primary payoff, and Maskwood Nexus makes all creatures every relevant type for maximum buffs. The main path is combat with an increasingly wide and tall army, while a secondary line uses Sanguine Bond plus Exquisite Blood to convert that life gain into an infinite drain. Recursion from Moseo, Cauldron of Essence, and True Ancestry keeps the engine running after wipes, and a small interaction suite handles artifacts, enchantments, and creatures at sorcery speed.
