Doom Prevails (Marvel Super Heroes Commander Precon Decklist) by user9983916

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a midrange Villain tribal strategy helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The primary plan is to deploy a critical mass of legendary Villain creatures-many of which have connive triggers, discard synergies, and token generation-to create a resilient board state. Doctor Doom provides a repeatable combat-step connive effect and a marginal life-loss punishment for discarding land cards, but the real engine lies in the dense web of Villain payoffs: Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord reduces Villain costs, Madame Hydra generates menace tokens, and Ultron, Unlimited churns out Robot tokens. The deck wins through incremental combat damage across multiple opponents, sometimes accelerating with The Squadron Sinister's mass pump or Living Laser's copied attacks. There are no infinite combos; victory is primarily attrition-based, with substantial card advantage from connive, Black Market Connections, and Currency Converter.
