Format: Commander

Commander: Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn turns every life-gain trigger into a counter-dump at end step, and this GW deck is built to exploit that with soul sisters, counter doublers, and life doublers. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap creatures, gain life from every ETB, then end-step put large piles of +1/+1 counters on attackers and win through trample/lifelink combat. A secondary line uses Aetherflux Reservoir: after doubling life with Beacon of Immortality or lifelink damage, fire a 50-life shot. Doctor Strange, Surgeon acts as a hidden commander by doubling life gain and pumping the team. The deck has no infinite combos, so it wins by overwhelming board presence rather than a single compact combo.
