Miirym 2 by user4564917

Format: Commander

Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is the engine of this Temur Dragon deck: every nontoken Dragon cast becomes two Dragons thanks to the token copy trigger. The primary plan is to ramp hard, deploy Miirym on turns 4-5, then chain Dragons that generate treasures, card draw, and ETB damage until the board can alpha-strike through Atarka's double strike and Thrakkus's power doubling. Secondary lines include grindier value through Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest pings, plus goad and theft effects. There is no hidden commander; Miirym is the sole build-around, though Irenicus's Vile Duplication can create a second Miirym to multiply the payoff.
