Deck overview

This deck is a resilient Abzan Lands engine piloted by The Necrobloom. The strategy converts land velocity, self-mill, and land-sacrifice loops into overwhelming board presence and resource denial. By granting all land cards in the graveyard dredge 2, The Necrobloom turns any draw step or cantrip into deliberate engine fuel, continuously stocking the graveyard with lands and high-value recursion targets. The deck ramps aggressively on Turns 1–3, deploys its commander alongside land-replaying permanents on Turn 4, and unleashes must-answer pressure by Turn 5 using Field of the Dead token armies, an indestructible 20/20 Marit Lage via Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage, or asymmetric Strip Mine attrition.
