Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits is a five-mana commander that creates two additional Halflings, then turns the resulting three creatures into a strong colorless mana engine. The deck accelerates aggressively with Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Sol Ring, Grim Monolith, cheap mana creatures, and high-output lands. Its main game plan is to convert that mana into Zhulodok, Void Gorger and large Eldrazi, using cascade, cast triggers, annihilator, and land-library access to build a dominant board. The deck also contains a genuine infinite-power interaction between The Notary Hobbits and Umbral Mantle. That interaction is not a complete table kill by itself: it normally lacks haste and can attack only one opponent at a time. The list has useful protection and broad permanent removal, but its expensive threats remain exposed and its interaction does not reliably cover opposing combo or stack-based plans. It is a strong high-power battlecruiser engine, not a consistent cEDH victory package.
