Deck overview

This Temur deck commands Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm to execute an aggressive Dragon tribal stompy game plan. The strategy ramps during the early turns to deploy Miirym by Turn 5 or 6, subsequently doubling large flying threats to overwhelm opponents in combat. High-impact creatures such as Thrakkus the Butcher, Wrathful Red Dragon, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun turn each cast into an immediate board-state threat. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game combat potential and passive resilience from ward {2}, it relies heavily on high-CMC permanents and natural card draws. The lack of fast mana and low-cost tutors places its operational velocity on standard midrange timings. Interactive spells and board wipes can disrupt the commander before value accumulates, but utility artifacts like Campfire and alternative engines like Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink provide dependable secondary routes to close out the game through evasive combat damage.
