Deck overview

This Bant deck is commanded by Choco, Seeker of Paradise, blending aggressive Bird tribal synergies with explosive Landfall acceleration. The strategy establishes early low-cost flyers and ramp pieces on Turns 1 through 3, resolving Choco on Turn 3 or 4. Once attacking, Choco looks through cards equal to the number of attacking Birds, putting a chosen card into hand and cheating all revealed lands directly onto the battlefield tapped. This mass land entry triggers powerful Landfall abilities across cards like Felidar Retreat, Tireless Provisioner, Emeria Angel, and Traveling Chocobo, while swelling Choco's own power. Card advantage engines such as Toski, Bearer of Secrets, Bident of Thassa, and Kindred Discovery ensure a full hand, while Akroma's Will, Cathars' Crusade, and Kastral, the Windcrested convert the evasive flock into lethal damage. Robust protection spells and countermagic safeguard the board through closing combat steps.
