Deck overview

This deck is commanded by Toph, the First Metalbender, blending Naya artifact ramp with aggressive land animation and counter synergies. Toph turns all nontoken artifacts into lands and earthbends them at end step, creating resilient hasty attackers that recur to the battlefield tapped if destroyed or exiled. The deck accelerates through low-cost artifacts and mana doublers like Mirari's Wake and Nyxbloom Ancient into decisive combat finishes with Craterclaw Colossus, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, or the land combo of Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage. While the deck exhibits format-leading resilience to board wipes due to earthbend recursion, it trades away long-term card draw engines for explosive mana velocity and stompy board states.
