Deck overview

Sedris, the Traitor King leads a Grixis graveyard deck that turns large creatures into temporary or permanent value. Early turns use lands, Signets, Sol Ring, looting, and tutors such as Buried Alive to prepare the graveyard. Around turn 7, Sedris can begin unearthing threats such as Archon of Cruelty, Grave Titan, or Sepulchral Primordial. The strongest ordinary threat is a turn-8 Living Death or multi-creature reanimation turn, especially when Anger grants haste and Massacre Wurm or Archon of Cruelty converts entries into resource loss. The deck has meaningful interaction and several blink effects, but its high mana curve, tapped lands, dependence on graveyard access, and lack of a compact kill prevent a reliable table finish. It is best played as a value-reanimation deck that wins through repeated advantage and combat rather than an all-in combo deck.
