Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Jund midrange/combo list built around the -1/-1 counter theme, helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The primary game plan is to flood the board with -1/-1 counters through cards like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and Blowfly Infestation, using the commander to draw cards and ping opponents. The deck then transitions into one of several infinite combos-most notably Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Walking Ballista (infinite damage) or Sanguine Bond + Exquisite Blood (infinite life loss). Secondary win conditions include drain effects from Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat combined with sacrifice outlets, as well as commander damage through Kulrath Knight locks. The deck controls the board with mass -1/-1 counter spells like Black Sun's Zenith and Soul Immolation while assembling its combo pieces.
