Deck overview

Lady Octopus, Inspired Inventor leads a mono-blue artifact deck designed to rapidly stack ingenuity counters and cheat high-cost artifacts onto the battlefield without paying their mana costs. By drawing extra cards each turn, Lady Octopus scales quickly, enabling free deployment of mid-to-high CMC engines as early as Turn 4. The deck converts artifact deployment into massive token armies through Simulacrum Synthesizer, Sai, Master Thopterist, and Efficient Construction. Once a critical mass of artifacts is established, decisive finishers such as Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer, and Cybermen Squadron overwhelm the table with evasive combat damage. Deep card draw engines like Vedalken Archmage and Skullclamp ensure continuous fuel, while cards like Clock of Omens and Sting, the Glinting Dagger unlock multiple activations per turn cycle. Although capable of infinite cast loops with Ancestral Statue, the deck's primary victory route is a rapid token swarm.
