Deck overview

This deck is a Simic Sea Monster stompy deck piloted by Kenessos, Priest of Thassa. The primary strategy focuses on manipulating the top of the library through scry effects and Brainstorm variants, enhancing scry values via Kenessos's static ability. By Turn 4, the deck activates Kenessos for {3}{G/U} at instant speed to cheat enormous Krakens, Leviathans, Octopuses, and Serpents onto the battlefield at a massive mana discount. Threats like Koma, Cosmos Serpent, Spawning Kraken, and Hullbreaker Horror take over the game through token swarms, uncounterable spells, and permanent bouncing. A deep suite of countermagic protects key pieces and disrupts opponents while holding open activation mana. Asymmetric board wipes such as Whelming Wave and unblockable enablers ensure combat damage finishes all opponents by Turn 7.
