Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan Golem tribal battlecruiser strategy led by partner commanders Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer and Ravos, Soultender. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns with artifact mana rocks, establishing a baseline board of Golem tokens through various Splicer creatures, and scaling into titanic artifact threats. Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer serves as a scaling powerhouse, placing +1/+1 counters on itself and every Golem whenever an artifact hits the graveyard, while Ravos, Soultender provides steady anthem power and recurs fallen creatures each upkeep. The high-end suite features devastating beaters like Darksteel Splicer, Blightsteel Colossus, Triplicate Titan, and Darksteel Forge, making the Golem army virtually indestructible in combat. While the deck boasts immense board presence and late-game resilience against standard destruction, its complete lack of instant-speed interaction and absence of tutors leave it vulnerable to fast combo decks and mass exile sweepers, requiring focused combat pressure to close out the game.
