Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai Elf-combo list that treats the graveyard as a second hand. The plan is to accelerate with cheap Elf dorks, seed the graveyard with Entomb / Buried Alive / Hermit Druid, then let Thranduil access every activated ability of Elves in the yard. The primary kill is an infinite-mana loop involving Devoted Druid, Immaculate Magistrate, and Wirewood Channeler - the mana is then converted into a win by Staff of Domination (drawing the deck) or Torment of Hailfire (draining the table). Necrotic Ooze acts as a "hidden commander" that runs the same graveyard pile. A secondary Elfball combat plan via Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Finale of Devastation, and Craterhoof Behemoth keeps the deck dangerous even if the combo is disrupted.
