Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-White Lifegain Midrange strategy commanded by Mangara, the Diplomat. The game plan revolves around deploying low-cost lifegain creatures like Soul Warden, Guide of Souls, and Daxos, Blessed by the Sun to establish a steady stream of life triggers. Mangara, the Diplomat acts as a potent card advantage engine by punishing opponents who cast multiple spells or attack with multiple creatures. The deck leverages its elevated life total to trigger powerful payoffs such as Righteous Valkyrie, Griffin Aerie, Ocelot Pride, and Aetherflux Reservoir. A robust catch-up land ramp package ensures steady mana development, while an exceptional single-target removal package keeps opposing threats in check. To safeguard its battlefield, the list features a dense suite of flexible protection and phasing spells. The deck wins by swarming opponents with flying, buffed creature tokens or eliminating players directly with Aetherflux Reservoir.
