Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Naya Equipment-Voltron build centered around Cloud, Ex-SOLDIER. Cloud provides an explosive combination of haste, automatic equipment attachment upon entry, card draw, and Treasure ramp whenever he attacks with 7 or more power. The game plan focuses on dropping heavy-stat equipment like Colossus Hammer, Excalibur, Sword of Eden, or Wrecking Ball Arm during the early turns, casting Cloud on Turn 4 to attach the gear for free, and immediately swinging for massive chunks of commander damage. The mana velocity generated by Cloud's Treasures feeds into multi-combat engines such as Genji Glove, Tifa, Martial Artist, and Aurelia, the Warleader to eliminate the entire table across consecutive combat phases. A comprehensive suite of instant-speed phase and indestructible spells protects the commander from opposing disruption.
