Prepare to face your DOOM by user2070609

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal deck built around Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, converting a discard-and-connive engine into incremental drain, Treasure/token production, and a wide evasive horde. The commander rewards discarding land cards with universal life loss while making a Villain connive each combat, feeding a dense package of "whenever you discard" payoffs - Monument to Endurance, Faith of the Devoted, Surly Badgersaur, Green Goblin, Nemesis, Currency Converter, and Moonstone, Harsh Mistress. The primary win is combat, leaning on Villain lords like The Squadron Sinister, Doctor Octopus, Master Planner, and The Masters of Evil to make the board lethal, while graveyard recursion (Norman Osborn // Green Goblin's mayhem, Too Evil to Stay Dead, Reanimate, The Soul Stone) provides a second wind. Demonic Tutor is the lone premium tutor; the deck otherwise relies on its dense connive/draw suite to find pieces.
