Spodermang 2

Format: Commander

Commander: Spider-Man 2099

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet "cast from exile / from anywhere other than your hand" deck helmed by Spider-Man 2099, whose "From the Future" restriction delays him to turn 4 but rewards every off-hand cast and land drop with a repeatable end-step burn equal to his power. The deck floods the board with exile-based card advantage - Wild Wasteland, Eruth, Tormented Prophet, Cait Sith, Fortune Teller, Inti, Seneschal of the Sun, Laelia, the Blade Reforged, Kami of Celebration, and Professional Face-Breaker - then suits up the commander with a dense equipment package (Blackblade Reforged, Wrecking Ball Arm, Umezawa's Jitte, the two Swords) to close via commander damage and the end-step burn. Secondary wins include Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Improvisation Capstone, Mizzix's Mastery, and token generation from The Lost and the Damned and Shaun, Father of Synths.
