Homer MK1 by SpagNoodle

Format: Commander

Commander: Homer, the Hermit

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Sultai deck is a landfall-mill prison built around Homer, the Hermit. Homer is the primary engine and finisher; with Bruvac on the battlefield, every post-Homer land drop becomes a lethal mill wave. Bruvac plus Maddening Cacophony is a compact secondary kill, and The Gitrog Monster/Dakmor Salvage loop can run into Laboratory Maniac. Stax pieces such as Stasis, Static Orb, Winter Orb, Glacial Chasm, and Constant Mists protect the engine while the deck recurs lands with Life from the Loam and Splendid Reclamation. There is no hidden commander; the double-faced Jidoor and MDFC lands are utility lands, not alternate command zones. The realistic plan is to ramp, land Homer, then convert a Scapeshift/Harrow/Splendid Reclamation burst into a mill kill before opponents establish an answer.
