Commander: Killian, Decisive Mentor

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Killian, Decisive Mentor drives a white-black Aura Voltron deck, but he is also the main combat controller: every enchantment entering taps and goads a relevant blocker, while every enchanted attacker draws a card. The primary plan is to chain cheap Auras onto Killian or the hidden commander Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice, until commander damage reaches 21 against each opponent. Secondary paths are token and drain pressure from Archon of Sun's Grace, Ajani's Chosen, Eriette of the Charmed Apple, and Shadrix Silverquill. Goad effects and defensive enchantments slow opposing races. No infinite combo or outlet exists in the 99, so the finish normally comes from several large commander swings plus incidental life loss.
