Format: Commander

Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Muckslinger Gang is a Jund power-matters deck that uses its commander as a static +3/+3 anthem for non-attacking creatures and for creature spells and cards in other zones to inflate mana dorks and threats. Primary plan is to generate huge power via Malignus, Lord of Extinction, Ghalta and The Skullspore Nexus, then convert that power into direct damage through Fling, Soul's Fire, Jarad and Chandra's Ignition, or into mana via Selvala, Viridian Joiner and Gwenna. Xenagos, God of Revels doubles the payoff. Secondary paths are combat with trample and haste or grind via Kroxa, Ziatora and Living Death. No hidden commander; the deck is built to use the Gang's anthem face.
