Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon commands a high-velocity five-color Dragon tribal deck designed to overwhelm opponents through accelerated mana, massive aerial combat threats, and explosive synergy engines. Leveraging the commander's Eminence ability alongside 0-2 CMC mana rocks and cost reducers, the deck consistently deploys powerhouse dragons two turns ahead of curve. Key mid-game threats like Hellkite Courser, Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, and Old Gnawbone generate massive card advantage, token armies, and Treasure reserves. Haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest and Rhythm of the Wild ensure that Dragon entries immediately transition into combat pressure, while Terror of the Peaks converts high-power summons into direct burn. Tutoring via Tiamat and black search spells guarantees reliable access to finisher pieces, including an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Old Gnawbone. Asymmetric sweepers like Crux of Fate and Ruinous Ultimatum clear opposing boards while preserving your own flying army to close the game swiftly by Turn 6.
