Deck overview

This mono-black control deck uses Tinybones, the Pickpocket at the helm of an oppressive discard and resource-denial strategy. The deck seeks to deploy early continuous discard enchantments such as Bottomless Pit, Necrogen Mists, and Oppression to strip away opposing hands. Asymmetric value engines like Waste Not, Geth's Grimoire, and Tinybones, Trinket Thief translate forced discards into vast card advantage, mana, and board presence. Once opponents are empty-handed, Tinybones, the Pickpocket and Tergrid, God of Fright hijack opposing win conditions directly from their graveyards. The deck secures victory through overwhelming combat damage from stolen threats, repeated life loss triggers, or an instant-kill combo with Bloodchief Ascension and Mindcrank. While vulnerable to early enchantment removal and explosive noncreature combos, its extreme density of discard effects consistently grinds opposing game plans to a complete halt.
