Deck overview

This deck is a classic mono-green stompy strategy commanded by Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient mana ramp and cost-effective creatures with high power during the first three turns. This power accumulation drastically reduces Ghalta's mana cost down to its absolute floor of {G}{G}, allowing the 12/12 Elder Dinosaur to enter the battlefield as early as Turn 4. Once assembled, the deck uses massive stat multipliers like Unnatural Growth, Railway Brawler, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, alongside evasion from Garruk's Uprising and Whispersilk Cloak, to deliver lethal trample combat damage across the table. Powerful creature-based card draw engines like Tribute to the World Tree keep hands full of threats. While the deck boasts immense physical resilience and rapid rebuilding speed, its linear focus leaves it vulnerable to instant-speed combo decks and mass exile board wipes due to a near-total absence of stack interaction.
