Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Orzhov Ninja deck led by Dark Leo & Shredder. The strategy deploys cheap, unblockable 1-drop creatures to guarantee early combat connections. Once the commander is on the battlefield, attacking Ninjas gain deathtouch, making combat unfavorable for opponents while generating 1/1 Ninja creature tokens. The deck accelerates toward a threshold of five Ninjas, which activates the commander's ability to halve an opponent's life total upon combat damage. Combined with damage multipliers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Archfiend of Despair, and Wound Reflection, this life-halving effect turns into a direct one-shot elimination. The deck sustains its resources through token-based card draw engines like Caretaker's Talent and Enduring Innocence, while using efficient spot removal to clear opposing threats. Although vulnerable to mass sweepers, backup finishers like Shredder, Shadow Master and Akroma's Will allow the deck to close games quickly across multiple combat steps.
