Deck overview

This Simic deck focuses on Mutant tribal synergies and +1/+1 counters under Genghis Frog. Genghis Frog enters on Turn 2, producing Mutagen artifact tokens whenever itself or another Mutant enters the battlefield. These Mutagens can be sacrificed to place counters on creatures, growing them into sizable threats. Supporting creatures like X-23, Deadly Weapon, Michelangelo, Mutant BFF, and Doc Samson, Super Psychiatrist amplify counter placement, provide evasion, and generate substantial mana. The deck utilizes a suite of counterspells and protective instants such as Inspiring Call and Saved by the Shell to preserve its board. While it lacks fast combos, stax elements, and instant creature removal, the list delivers steady on-curve value and builds toward an inevitable combat-oriented finish around Turn 10.
