Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros combat strategy led by Aurelia, the Warleader. The primary plan develops early board presence using efficient attackers and token generators like Hero of Bladehold and Brimaz, King of Oreskos, while deploying taxing creatures like Thalia, Guardian of Thraben and Angel of Jubilation to slow down opposing strategies. Upon reaching six mana on turn 6, Aurelia, the Warleader enters with haste and initiates two consecutive combat phases each turn, compounding attack triggers, battle cry buffs, and token creation. Supporting cards like Iroas, God of Victory and Grand Abolisher protect your attackers and silence opposing interaction during your turn. Although the deck lacks nonland tutors and burst card draw, its focus on combat pressure, damage amplification through Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and game-ending sorceries like Insurrection reliably closes games within two turns of Aurelia taking the battlefield.
