Deck overview

This Temur spellslinger deck is commanded by Iroh, Grand Lotus, leveraging a unique Lesson and flashback engine to generate overwhelming card velocity and explosive storm turns. Early turns focus on mana development with cost reducers like Goblin Electromancer and discarding Lessons into the graveyard via looting effects. Once Iroh enters the battlefield, all graveyard Lessons gain a {1} flashback cost, allowing the deck to chain draw spells, bounce effects, and token-producing triggers for minimal mana. The deck converts this spell velocity into game-ending pressure through wide creature generators such as Murmuring Mystic and Talrand, Sky Summoner, direct damage from Caldera Pyremaw, or massive team pumps via Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Haze of Rage. Additionally, an infinite storm and mana loop exists between Storm-Kiln Artist and Haze of Rage. While reliant on graveyard access and commander stability, recurring defensive Lessons provide strong resilience against opposing interaction.
