Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Grixis tempo-combo deck helmed by Obeka, Brute Chronologist, built around a singular mechanical exploit: ending the turn to negate "at the beginning of the next end step" sacrifice/exile triggers. The deck floods the battlefield with temporary tokens and reanimated creatures-via Sneak Attack, Dawn of the Dead, Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Feldon of the Third Path, and myriad effects-then uses Obeka or Sundial of the Infinite to make those permanents stick permanently. Extra-turn spells like Last Chance and Alchemist's Gambit become free turns when the loss trigger is skipped. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from accumulated token armies, often amplified by The Master, Multiplied and Blade of Selves for myriad sweeps. Secondary paths include Living Death mass reanimation and Psychic Vortex card advantage. The deck is a high-synergy engine that rewards careful sequencing and knowledge of turn-ending rules.
