Thranduil's little elves by Veritas

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is both engine and payoff. You fill your own graveyard with Elves that have powerful activated abilities-mana dorks, counter makers, overrun effects, and Jarad's drain-so Thranduil can use all of them. The primary plan is to assemble infinite green mana via Devoted Druid plus a +1/+1 counter source, then convert it into a huge hasty/trampling attack with Finale of Devastation or Ezuri's overrun, or a Jarad-style sacrifice drain. Thranduil the Strategist and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege are supporting legends, not hidden commanders. Secondary paths include aggressive elfball with Ezuri/Lathril and Maralen's free-cast engine.
