I will surveil! by d3aN.

Format: Commander

Commander: Mirko, Obsessive Theorist

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mirko, Obsessive Theorist commands a Dimir reanimator deck centered on the surveil mechanic. The deck uses low-cost surveil cantrips and creatures to fill the graveyard with high-impact threats while growing Mirko with plus one plus one counters. At each end step, Mirko reanimates a creature with power lower than his own, cheating massive bombs like Archon of Cruelty, Grave Titan, and Doom Whisperer directly onto the battlefield. Secondary paths include hardcast reanimation spells, drain damage from Syr Konrad, the Grim, and value engines like Twilight Diviner. The deck wins by burying opponents under overwhelming combat damage and repeated enter-the-battlefield triggers.
