Commander: Minthara, Merciless Soul

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Minthara, Merciless Soul leads an Orzhov sacrifice and counter-proliferation engine that wins through crushing wide combat damage or aristocrats drain. The strategy centers on reliably removing your own permanents each turn via sacrifice outlets or blink effects to accumulate experience counters on Minthara. Proliferate effects accelerate this total, steadily increasing ward protection on your commander while giving your entire board massive static power buffs. The deck converts this power into lethal combat swings using swarms generated by cards like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Jacked Rabbit, or drains opponents directly through Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim and Massacre Wurm.
