Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red midrange strategy led by Maximus, Knight Apparent that blends an Equipment toolbox with Energy resource mechanics. The game plan focuses on casting Maximus on Turn 4 to search for a tailored 2-CMC Equipment, such as Wrecking Ball Arm for raw power, Blade of Selves for myriad triggers, or Lightning Greaves for protection. Energy produced by sacrificing spare artifacts and attacking fuels high-impact payoffs like Aether Revolt, Blaster Hulk, and Aetherworks Marvel. The deck applies steady pressure through evasive, high-power combat damage while generating Junk and Treasure tokens to maintain card flow and mana velocity. Although vulnerable to mass artifact sweepers and lacking stack interaction, its tutor consistency from the command zone and resilient equipment attachments provide a dependable path to victory by Turn 8.
