Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (sans-green) Polymorph Control strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan focuses on deploying low-cost token generators such as Skrelv's Hive, Dreadhorde Invasion, and Lingering Souls during the opening turns, supported by a dense package of two-mana mana rocks for fixing. On Turn 4 or 5, the deck casts Jace and immediately uses his −3 loyalty ability to transform a disposable token into a game-warping threat from the 99, including Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or Darksteel Angel. While the deck features powerful redundant polymorph enablers such as Proteus Staff, Identity Echo, and Mass Polymorph, it wins strictly through fair combat damage and attrition.
