Deck overview

This Dimir list is piloted by Satoru Umezawa, using an aggressive cheat strategy that pairs cheap evasive creatures with massive game-ending bombs. In the early turns, the deck casts low-cost unblockable enablers like Slither Blade, Gudul Lurker, and Invisible Stalker, followed by Satoru on Turn 3. On Turn 4, it attacks with an unblocked creature and uses Satoru's ninjutsu ability for four mana to cheat in colossal threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Toxrill, the Corrosive, or Archon of Cruelty. Satoru's trigger smooths draws by selecting cards from the top of the library. If the primary cheat plan faces disruption, secondary ninjas such as Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow weaponize the deck's high average mana value into substantial life loss. Backed by free countermagic, flexible removal, and brutal stax praetors, the deck rapidly locks down opponents and eliminates them through high-power combat and infect damage.
