Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue aggro-control mill strategy commanded by The Mindskinner. Rather than chipping life totals slowly, the commander converts its unblockable 10 power into simultaneous 10-card mill triggers against every opponent. The deck accelerates this clock using mass mill payoffs such as Maddening Cacophony, Tasha's Hideous Laughter, and Riverchurn Monument, while quickly reaching threshold conditions for cards like Visions of Beyond. A sturdy suite of mono-blue countermagic, bounce spells, and attack taxes like Propaganda keeps aggressive opponents at bay while protecting key permanents. Because the commander possesses only 1 toughness and no native ward, the deck relies heavily on timely counterspells and equipment like Swiftfoot Boots to ensure it survives long enough to empty all three opposing libraries by Turn 7.
