Oloro by LA2WVU

Format: Commander

Commander: Oloro, Ageless Ascetic

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Oloro, Ageless Ascetic life-gain control deck that aims to out-value opponents through incremental life-gain triggers and card draw, then close the game with a two-card infinite combo, a big X-spell, or Aetherflux Reservoir. The commander provides a steady stream of life from the command zone and an activated draw engine that turns every life-gain event into card advantage. The primary win condition is Sanguine Bond plus Exquisite Blood-once both are on the battlefield, any life-gain event (including Oloro's upkeep trigger) loops into an instant table-kill. Backup plans include Debt to the Deathless, Exsanguinate, and Aetherflux Reservoir after building a high life-total. The deck packs a respectable interaction suite with 4 counterspells, instant-speed removal, and three symmetric board wipes, but its lack of real tutors makes it heavily reliant on drawing into its key pieces.
