Bracket: 4

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth turns life into mana to power a mono-black storm-aristocrats deck. The primary plan uses K'rrik's life-payment plus Crypt Ghast, Cabal Coffers, and rituals to cast draw engines like Bolas's Citadel and Ad Nauseam, then finish with large Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Gray Merchant loops. Secondary paths grind through aristocrats drains with Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Syr Konrad, recurring creatures via Mikaeus, Animate Dead, and Dread Return. K'rrik is the accelerator, not the win condition; Bolas's Citadel acts as the hidden commander that actually draws and casts the deck.
