Deck overview

This Grixis reanimator and midrange deck uses Sauron, Lord of the Rings to dominate the late game. Sauron provides immense immediate value on cast by creating an Army, milling your library, and returning a dead creature directly to play. The primary game plan fills the graveyard early using looting effects, surveil, and self-mill, then cheats out powerful threats like Phyrexian Triniform, Massacre Wurm, and Myr Battlesphere ahead of curve. Secondary lines leverage amass synergy and Ring-tempting triggers to steadily pressure life totals. You ultimately win through overwhelming combat damage, repeated reanimation ETB triggers, and a massive board presence.
