Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Talion, the Kindly Lord in the command zone as a continuous card advantage and life-drain engine. Supported by fast mana rocks like Mana Crypt and Chrome Mox, the deck accelerates quickly into early turns. It uses Cursed Totem, Narset, Parter of Veils, and efficient counterspells to disrupt opponents while sculpting a winning hand. The primary game plan seeks to assemble the compact combination of Thassa's Oracle and Demonic Consultation by Turn 4. If Thassa's Oracle is unavailable, Jace, Wielder of Mysteries and Doomsday offer immediate redundant win paths. Midrange backup plans such as Notion Thief with Windfall or Psychosis Crawler provide alternative routes to close out the game through hand destruction and steady life drain.
