Betore b4 by cp14

Format: Commander

Commander: Betor, Kin to All

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Betor, Kin to All leads an Abzan toughness-matters deck that converts high-toughness creatures into card advantage, pseudo-vigilance, and burst life loss. The early turns establish mana ramp and high-toughness defenders. Once Betor reaches the board alongside sturdy permanents like Tree of Perdition, Indomitable Ancients, or Tree of Redemption, the end-step trigger easily crosses the 40-toughness threshold to halve opponents life totals. The primary win condition layers this end-step life drain with life-loss doubling effects like Wound Reflection, Bloodletter of Aclazotz, or level 3 Warlock Class to instantly eliminate the table. Alternatively, combat effects like Assault Formation and Bedrock Tortoise allow massive walls to attack with their toughness.
