Deck overview

This Azorius tribal aggro deck leverages 32 copies of Tempest Hawk alongside Kastral, the Windcrested to deploy a relentless swarm of evasive creatures. Early turns focus on establishing 2-mana and 3-mana fliers. When Tempest Hawk deals combat damage, it searches the library for another copy, ensuring a full hand of threats. Casting Kastral, the Windcrested transforms this aerial army into a compounding engine that draws cards, cheats Birds onto the battlefield, and distributes +1/+1 counters across the board. Supporting enchantments like Cathars' Crusade, Banner of Kinship, and Murmuration rapidly grow the flock into lethal attackers. The deck relies on countermagic such as Swan Song and Dazzling Denial to defend its board. However, running only 26 lands creates severe mana constraints, and the entire strategy remains vulnerable to board sweepers.
